Our Firm

Angela Anderson:

Lawyer/Notary Public

Angela is the eldest grandchild of Wayburn and Noreen Adams, lifelong residents of Bowmanville, who ran the Adams Boarding Home on Church Street for over 40 years. Raised in Bowmanville and a graduate of Bowmanville High School in the class of 1996, Angela attended Trinity College at the University of Toronto where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and History. In 1999, Angela was granted early admission to Queen’s University School of Law, where she obtained her Bachelor of Law degree (LLB) in 2002. While studying law at Queen’s, Angela worked as a summer student at the law office of Irwin Hamilton and upon being called to the bar in 2003, Angela returned to Bowmanville to establish her law practice.

Angela and her husband Gerry are self-avowed “computer geeks” and after attending the American Bar Association Law and Technology Conference in 2009, committed to developing a “paper-less” office, which has allowed us to increase efficiency, decrease our reliance on paper, and enable us to provide a higher level of service to our clients.

Although running her firm occupies much of her time, in her free time Angela is a frequent guest speaker on the topic of Estate Planning and is a past Vice President of the Durham Region Law Association. Angela currently serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters Clarington.
